Survivor Outwit Outlast Game

I am a huge Survivor nerd and got into it about a year or two ago. I found this game online and decided to order it. After studying up on the rules I decided to host a game night with some of my friends and acquaintances through Facebook. Out of the 8 people that came, I was the only one that was a Survivor "fan" although most understood the concept of the show. We made a rule that before Tribal Council any player can pull any number of players into a separate room to strategize (this feature makes the game quite long, having a total playtime of 8 hours). I also made my own Hidden Immunity Idol cards and sleeved them to make the game feel more like the modern Survivor seasons. Nobody really got angry when voted out and everyone thinks blindsides are pretty fun to do! We play this game weekly but the only downside is, if you play with the same group of people game after game you quickly become a target if you play a villainous type play style from the past game. Ill be ordering the Survivor: Australiaboard game since everyone is starting to memorize most of the riddles from this edition. Game nights with this game have been a load of fun and Im glad I found players who take the game overly serious to hangout in my garage for 8 hours. I totally recommend anyone buy this game and add your own custom rules to it. Definitely more fun with 8+ people.

Survivor The Board Game

This game is what you make of it. Some of the challenges are pretty odd and require you to use things that you may not have around the house. Some are pretty messy such as an egg toss or running with an egg between your legs which also requires it to be nice weather outside and the participants must wear old clothes. Other challenges are just boring, such as "design a welcome mat for the host." It makes you wonder how it relates to the TV. game show. You also need a lot of people to play.

To make it fun, you have to add your own creativity. We sent people to "exile island," which was really just the kitchen.

Survivor the Australian Outback 2nd Edition Board Game

I like how its made and as a big fan of Survivor show I just love it. You can adjust the rules but those rules which are already set are well-written.

Stranded

The story is fast paced and easy to read. Vanessa and Buzzs father married Carter and Janes mother. While their parents are on their honeymoon, Uncle Dexter is taking the kids on a sailing adventure. This trip is supposed to help the new siblings get to know each other better. That doesnt seem to working and the weather isnt helping. Uncle Dex has been trying to steer them around the storm, but the weather keeps getting worse. When the ship starts taking on water, Dex attempts to get everyone into the life boat. However, the lifeboat is pulled away by the storm and the kids are left alone on the ship. The ship crashes on a deserted island and the kids are left to fend for themselves.

This is an exciting adventure that young readers will enjoy. Both boys and girls will find connections with these kids. They each have their own strengths and pull together when it matters. Any kid who enjoys adventure stories will like this book. This is the first in a series and the end of the book isnt the end of the story. If your kids enjoy this book, Im sure they will want to read the sequels. I think this book will appeal to reluctant readers and avid readers alike. I read it in one day and enjoyed it.

Survivors 3 (Stranded)

I would definitely recommend these books -especially if you have a child that doesnt like to read. My son really dislikes reading most of the time but finding this series very interesting. He read all three in about a month and wishes that there were more books in this series. This series definitely made it easy for him to get excited about reading and taking AR tests.
